Everbloom Paper Flowers

Mock Orange (Budding)

$225.00

Mock orange earns its name from the scent — an old-fashioned hedge shrub grown for a few weeks in early summer when the whole plant goes white and the air around it smells like citrus blossom. It’s a flower most people recognize from their grandmother’s yard before they know what it’s called.

This branch is built the way the shrub actually grows: open blooms low on the stem, buds still tight at the tip, leaves alternating up the length so it reads as a cutting rather than a bouquet. Each petal is cut, shaped, and washed with a faint yellow at the base, and every stamen in the center is a separately cut and colored filament — the detail that keeps a simple five-petaled flower from looking flat.

A tall, quiet piece for a mantel or a narrow vase, where a branch does more than a single stem can. It stays in bloom past the two weeks the real thing gives you.

14 in. tall, 1 in. wide (flowers), 7 flowers, 7 buds

Materials & Making

Every piece is built from premium German and Italian crepe paper — hand-dyed, hand-painted, and shaped petal by petal. Stems are wired throughout, so each piece can be bent, angled, and arranged as you like, and holds its shape once set.

A multi-step protective finish seals the color, adds a subtle luster, and guards against fading and humidity. Because every piece is colored by hand, tones vary slightly from the photograph — no two are identical, and yours will be its own.

Made to Order

Each piece is made by hand after your order is confirmed. Typical preparation times, measured from the date your order is confirmed with Julia: 7–10 days for one to three stems, 10–14 days for four to seven, and 14–21 days for larger commissions. Shipping transit adds approximately 5–7 days. Timelines run longer through the holiday season and the spring wedding months, and your confirmed date will always be stated in writing before you commit.

Working toward a wedding or event date? Include the date in your request and we’ll confirm the full schedule before anything is finalized. Need a piece sooner than the times above? Ask — a compressed timeline can often be arranged.

Prefer a different palette? Most pieces can be made in custom colors — describe what you have in mind, or send a photograph, and Julia will confirm what’s possible with your quote.

Every piece is finished with a tag signed and dated by Julia, nested in tissue, and boxed for safe travel. Preparation & Delivery

Care & Repairs

Though delicate in appearance, each piece is remarkably durable and may be bent and arranged as needed. Keep out of prolonged direct sun and damp environments, and your piece will hold its color and form for decades. Because every piece is made by hand to order, all sales are final. Should a piece ever be damaged, Julia will repair it whenever repair is possible, for the life of the piece — you cover shipping and handling. Warranty & Repairs
