Everbloom Paper Flowers

Peony (Moonberry)

$185

Peonies are known for what they do in the center: a crowd of stamens, a few carpels, nothing that rises above the petals. Nothing in a real peony does what this one does. Two small lavender orbs lift out of the middle on their own stalks, like berries or moons hung over a warm-colored bloom. That’s the Moonberry.

The petals are hand-dyed before cutting, so the color changes within the paper. A saturated red at the ragged outer ring softens into peach and blush toward the center, with brushed touches of gold on a few petals. The outer ring is cut with a torn, fringed edge and the inner layers are cut soft and rounded, so the bloom reads as a skirt of red under a quieter pink flower. The two orbs are formed individually and set on wired stalks, with fine blue-gray and green filaments at their base. Hand-dyed stem, leaves in a fresh spring green.

Signature Series pieces are Julia’s own inventions — botanicals that don’t exist, made with the same techniques as the ones that do. This one is bright and a little strange, and it works alone in a bud vase or as the odd note in a softer arrangement. It holds its color and its orbs.

Materials & Making

Every piece is built from premium German and Italian crepe paper — hand-dyed, hand-painted, and shaped petal by petal. Stems are wired throughout, so each piece can be bent, angled, and arranged as you like, and holds its shape once set.

A multi-step protective finish seals the color, adds a subtle luster, and guards against fading and humidity. Because every piece is colored by hand, tones vary slightly from the photograph — no two are identical, and yours will be its own.

Made to Order

Each piece is made by hand after your order is confirmed. Typical preparation times, measured from the date your order is confirmed with Julia: 7–10 days for one to three stems, 10–14 days for four to seven, and 14–21 days for larger commissions. Shipping transit adds approximately 5–7 days. Timelines run longer through the holiday season and the spring wedding months, and your confirmed date will always be stated in writing before you commit.

Working toward a wedding or event date? Include the date in your request and we’ll confirm the full schedule before anything is finalized. Need a piece sooner than the times above? Ask — a compressed timeline can often be arranged.

Prefer a different palette? Most pieces can be made in custom colors — describe what you have in mind, or send a photograph, and Julia will confirm what’s possible with your quote.

Every piece is finished with a tag signed and dated by Julia, nested in tissue, and boxed for safe travel. Preparation & Delivery
