Everbloom Paper Flowers

Hellebore

$95

Hellebore blooms when almost nothing else will — deep winter into earliest spring, often pushing up through snow, which has earned it the common name Lenten rose even though it isn’t a rose at all. The flower nods rather than faces out, five broad petals in soft blush and cream, and at the center a ring of nectaries that looks almost like a second, smaller flower nested inside the first.

The paper is hand-dyed before cutting — pink deepening at the petal edges and fading to a warm cream toward the throat, worked into the fiber so the gradient has depth rather than sitting flat. The center is the detail worth close attention: a ring of small cream nectaries surrounding a tight green boss, each one cut and set individually. Deep maroon leaves, dyed to the near-black the foliage takes on through winter.

A quiet, early-season piece — right for a small vase on its own, or nested low in a larger arrangement where its nodding form reads as depth rather than height. It blooms on your shelf regardless of season, unlike the real thing, which only shows itself for a few weeks each year.

Materials & Making

Every piece is built from premium German and Italian crepe paper — hand-dyed, hand-painted, and shaped petal by petal. Stems are wired throughout, so each piece can be bent, angled, and arranged as you like, and holds its shape once set.

A multi-step protective finish seals the color, adds a subtle luster, and guards against fading and humidity. Because every piece is colored by hand, tones vary slightly from the photograph — no two are identical, and yours will be its own.

Made to Order

Each piece is made by hand after your order is confirmed. Typical preparation times, measured from the date your order is confirmed with Julia: 7–10 days for one to three stems, 10–14 days for four to seven, and 14–21 days for larger commissions. Shipping transit adds approximately 5–7 days. Timelines run longer through the holiday season and the spring wedding months, and your confirmed date will always be stated in writing before you commit.

Working toward a wedding or event date? Include the date in your request and we’ll confirm the full schedule before anything is finalized. Need a piece sooner than the times above? Ask — a compressed timeline can often be arranged.

Prefer a different palette? Most pieces can be made in custom colors — describe what you have in mind, or send a photograph, and Julia will confirm what’s possible with your quote.

Every piece is finished with a tag signed and dated by Julia, nested in tissue, and boxed for safe travel. Preparation & Delivery

Care & Repairs

Though delicate in appearance, each piece is remarkably durable and may be bent and arranged as needed. Keep out of prolonged direct sun and damp environments, and your piece will hold its color and form for decades. Because every piece is made by hand to order, all sales are final. Should a piece ever be damaged, Julia will repair it whenever repair is possible, for the life of the piece — you cover shipping and handling. Guarantee & Repairs
